Merced Concrete was started in 2025 by a concrete crew that had been working the Central Valley for years. We set up our home base in Merced, CA - right in the heart of Merced County - because this is where we live and where the work is.
Merced is a working town. The homes here range from mid-century ranch houses near downtown to newer subdivisions out by UC Merced, and they all sit on the same clay-heavy soil that shifts with every rainy season. We have poured concrete in 105-degree summers, dealt with waterlogged ground after winter rains, and learned the hard way what base preparation Merced's soils actually require. That experience is built into every project we take on.
We keep things simple. Show up when we say we will. Quote it honestly in writing. Pull the permits. Do the work right. The Central Valley is a big place, and we serve homeowners and businesses across 12 cities from Merced to Livermore. But every project starts the same way - with a free on-site estimate and a straight conversation about what it will cost and how long it will take.
If you want to talk through a project, reach out here or call us directly at (209) 308-1587.
We pull permits on every project that requires one. That means your work is on record, it passes city inspection, and it will not cause problems if you sell your home.
When you reach out, someone from our office follows up the same day or next business day - no waiting a week to find out if we can help.
The Central Valley's clay soils and extreme summer heat require specific techniques - deeper base preparation, early-morning pours, and the right joint spacing. We build for local conditions, not generic standards.
Every estimate we give is written and breaks out labor, materials, permits, and demolition. You know the full number before we schedule any work.
California C-8 Concrete Contractor License - issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
General liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on every project, protecting you and your property.
Based in Merced, CA. We pull permits locally and know the City of Merced's inspection process.
The California C-8 Concrete Contractor License is issued by the CSLB and authorizes contractors to perform concrete construction on residential and commercial properties throughout the state.
